It’s Fiestas time! On behalf of the Board of Directors and Calle Dos Cinco friends, we’d like to invite you to join us for Fiestas de Las Americas 2018 on Saturday, September 29th from 10am-8pm in the Historic Capitol Hill business district (SW 25th St. between Walker & Robinson). This year marks the 13th Annual celebration of Oklahoma’s rich multicultural heritage during Hispanic Heritage month in Capitol Hill. Our signature event attracts more than 20,000 visitors and showcases the beauty, taste, and talent of the rich multicultural heritage found in Oklahoma. This family-friendly event includes live entertainment, food, eclectic vendors, Latino art, and many fun activities throughout the day!

PARADE OF THE AMERICAS
Oklahoma City’s largest multicultural Parade of the Americas is a colorful exhibition of culture and civic pride. With over 70 school groups, cultural organizations, equestrian clubs, non-profit organizations, corporations and small businesses, the parade is a highlight of this community festival. The parade begins at 10am in Capitol Hill High School travels north on Walker Ave, turns right on SW 25th to Robinson, makes a quick right turn to SW 26th ending at Capitol Hill Elementary. Visitors are encouraged to get their early for the best viewing spots!
The Fiestas de las Americas stage is at the heart of the action, providing exciting entertainment throughout the day. From cultural dance groups to live bands, our line-up has something for everyone, beginning at noon right after our parade and continuing until 8pm. The entertainment line-up will be announced soon.
A day filled with colorful costumes, music, dance, and food is the perfect time to experience art and some Latino flare! Artists and craftsmen of all types are on site showcasing their handmade and boutique items and showing-off their talent in the Fiestas Artist’s Market area.
Fiestas de las Americas attracts thousands from around the region – students, young singles, families and active seniors. Attendees can interact with businesses and organizations and learn about their products and services from their vendor booth in the Fiestas Exhibit Corridor. Some vendors will have interactive games with prizes and giveaways for everyone.
With a $5 bracelet purchase, kids will be able to enjoy inflatables, rock wall climbing, crafts, train ride, play our carnival games and much more!
From cold beer and tacos to hot funnel cakes and corn dogs, visitors enjoy a delicious variety at the Fiestas Food Court near the main stage at SW 25th & Harvey. Participating food trucks will be announced soon.
