Miss Fiestas de Las Americas
Leadership Development Pageant

The mission of the Miss Fiestas de las Américas Leadership Development Pageant is to provide a platform that empowers and supports the next generation of leaders by embracing culture, cultivating leadership, promoting the pursuit of continued education, and community leadership.

Pageant commitment is once a month workshop from Sept 6th through Nov 23rd

Teen & Miss Candidate Application

Pageant commitment is twice-a-month workshops from Sept 6 - Nov 23
- Additional Choreography and cultural practice dates to be determined

All rehearsals are closed to the public, including family.
All Candidates will participate in Fiestas De Las América's Parade/Festival activities and preparation
Financial Commitment. Candidates are not charged a fee to participate. However, program ad sales will be required from each candidate.
Crowned candidate will have monthly community service or appearances to complete platforms.

Teen Candidates must be enrolled in high school grades 10th - 12th in the fall of 2024.
Miss Candidates must be enrolled in a post-high school educational institution for the fall of 2024.
Miss Fiestas De Las Americas is a closed pageant. The candidate may not participate if she currently holds a title with another organization.
Immediate family members of any Fiestas De Las Americas Leadership Development Pageant Committee Members may not participate.
All candidates must represent a Latin American country in their cultural platform. Candidates do not need to be of Latino heritage.
All candidates must be under the age of 25, unmarried, and have no children.

Section 1: Application Terms and Eligibility Disclosure

Section 3: Essay questions: Must be between 200 – 500 words.

It is recommended you write your responses in a Word document before starting the application and then copy and paste.

1. Why is continued education important to you? and what areas/ what type of continuing education are you interested in pursuing further? Why did you select that course of study?

2. Oklahoma is becoming more and more culturally diverse. How do you see the cultural diversity in your community/school? And how can Fiestas De Las Americas show the beauty of the Latino cultures in your community/school?

3. As a titleholder, you will have the opportunity to develop a platform for community leadership. What community issue are you most passionate about, and how have you been involved in addressing it?
