The OKCine Latino Youth Film Institute aims to expand the reach and accessibility of the filmmaking industry while offering practical experience to young aspiring filmmakers and their families. The program introduces Oklahoma students to the fundamental theories and processes of film creation, empowering them to collaborate on crafting their own short films. From initial planning and scriptwriting to filming and editing, students engage in every aspect of the filmmaking journey, gaining valuable hands-on skills and insights.

The Oklahoma Cine Latino Film Festival celebrates Latino cultural impact on cinema, featuring submissions from around the globe, including Mexico, Spain, and South America.
